Martin sees his Edwardian semi as a collection of energy modules. To reduce bills and make it warm and cozy, he has insulated throughout, sealed windows and doors, installed a condensing boiler, put reflective panels behind radiators, added secondary glazing, and placed solar panels on the roof. Next on the agenda: external insulation and solar PV.
